Does GM Forges work for D&D 5e?

Yes. GM Forges is designed with D&D 5e in mind — the initiative tracker includes 5e conditions, the encounter difficulty calculator uses 5e CR math, and the quick reference library includes standard 5e SRD tables. It also works for Pathfinder 2e and other systems.

How do I track initiative in D&D?

In D&D 5e, each combatant rolls a d20 and adds their Dexterity modifier. GM Forges includes a free initiative tracker that lets you add players and monsters, enter or auto-roll initiatives, apply conditions, track HP, and step through turns automatically.

What dice does a D&D player need?

D&D uses seven polyhedral dice: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100 (two d10s). The d20 is used for almost all checks and attacks. GM Forges includes a free online dice roller that supports all of these with modifiers, advantage/disadvantage mode, and roll history.
